COLUMBIA – A memorial service for Pamela Gwyn Barnes, 54, will be held at 12 Noon Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel, Irmo. The family will receive friends from 11-12 prior to the service at the funeral home. Pamela passed away, Tuesday, April 4, 2017 after a brief illness. Born in Lexington, NC, she was a daughter of the late Edwin Lawrence and Lois Maxine Knighten Barnes. She was a graduate of Davidson County Community College. She was employed with Overnite Transportation in Richmond, VA and most with Southeastern Freightlines in Columbia. She also worked at MedCom. Surviving are her sister, Judy H. Thompson (Glenn Schwarz) of Waxhaw, NC; nephews, Michael Thompson (Casey), Mark Thompson (Amanda) and Matthew Thompson (Holly); grand nieces and nephews, Alayna, Chloe, Mason, Lucy, Luke and Camden; and four legged companion, Nichole the cat.
