Harrell Tindal Jenkins, son of Kinsey and Doreen Williams Jenkins was born on September 1, 1978, in Columbia, SC and died on December 16, 2024. He was on the kidney transplant waiting list. He was a graduate of Irmo High School and attended Lenoir Rhyne College.
Tindal was a proud and loyal employee of Terminix Corporation for over 26 years and cherished the friends of his workplace. At the time of his death, he was the Printing and Distribution Supervisor.
Survivors include his beloved brother, Hampton Jenkins, his nephew and namesake, Riley Tindal Jenkins, and other family members including aunts, uncles and numerous cousins.
While he traveled to many locations in the United States no place was as special as the mountains of North Carolina and Green River Road. His family were summer residents for 60 years and Tindal shared their house with friends and family and the joy and peace he found there.
On Tindal's life journey, many friends and professionals shared their knowledge and expertise to assist him in his goal of independence. He and his family are profoundly grateful for their efforts.
Tindal experienced many health issues but he believed with hard work and determination anything was possible. He was sensitive to the needs of others, generous in giving with a deep, loving spirit that will live forever in the lives of his family and friends. Many will mourn him.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Dunbar Funeral Home, 7600 Woodrow Street, Irmo, SC 29063 on December 21, 2024. Visitation from 10:15 to 11:15 a.m. A short memorial service will begin at 11:15 a.m.
