Guy Richard Kimball

Guy passed away on Monday, October 24, 2022. Born in Zanesville, Ohio, he was a son of the late Virgil M. Kimball and Agnes Mae Weed Kimball. He received his degree in Civil Engineering and a Master’s Degree from the University of South Carolina. Guy retired from BellSouth. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Lexington. Guy will be remembered for being a loving and dedicated husband. He enjoyed hiking, camping, gardening, and Shag dancing. An avid mountain climber, he climbed Mt. Fuji in Japan at the age of 72. Guy loved running marathons. He and Gege enjoyed traveling in their RV.

Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Sandra “Gege” Kimball; brother, James M. Kimball; sister, Janet Green; sister-in-law, Patsy Kimball; nieces, Kelli Green and Caroline Kimball; nephew, Chris Kimball; and great-niece, Caitlyn Kimball.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Kenny Kimball and Mike Kimball.
