Frances "Penny" Christine Cowan, born December 23, 1940, finished her life on Sunday, January 6th, 2019. A celebration matching her unique wit, brilliant mind, and mischievous spirit will be held January 19th at 1pm at St. Timothy's Episcopal Church at 900 Calhoun Street in Columbia, SC.
Penny is survived by her much loved daughter, Anne Kathleen DuTremble. She is also survived by her older sister Mary Kathleen "Kate" Pinto and husband Bob, as well as her five surviving nieces and nephews: Bobby Pinto, Mary Fran Pinto, Anne Tallini-Morris, Andrew Pinto, and Sara Pinto. Elizabeth Schinke, her #2 girl, also survives her.
As high as the sky, as deep as the ocean, Penny Cowan was loved.
