He was born in Louisville, Kentucky on January 30, 1964, the son of Richard James Warner and Mary Elizabeth Wirrick.
David and his family moved to Columbia, SC on David’s 10th birthday. He attended Irmo schools and graduated from Irmo High School. David assisted in opening Anchor Lanes Bowling Center in Irmo and worked there until his health declined. David enjoyed serving others around him, going to movies, baking his special snickerdoodles for others, and spending time with family and friends.
David is survived by his “Sweetie” and eternal companion, Tina Brasington Warner, his daughter, Autumn, son, David James and his siblings Elizabeth Warner and Margaret Warner.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Toni, Alene, Rosa, and the staff at Lutheran Hospice.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 14, 2023 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, with burial in Bush River Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Missionary fund.
