IRMO – Christopher Allen Kimball, 54, of Irmo, SC, passed away on October 12, 2024. Born February 3, 1970 in Columbia, SC, he was the son of Kenneth Allen Kimball and Patricia Folk Kimball. A graduate of Chapin High School (1988), Chris worked in the tile and granite construction industry.
Known as “Aggie” to all his friends, Chris loved spending time on Lake Murray and trout fishing in the mountains. His passions included hunting and riding his four-wheeler. An avid sports fan, he cheered for his Gamecocks as well as for the Dallas Cowboys. Chris also loved NASCAR, especially his favorite driver, Mark Martin.
Chris is survived by his mother, Patsy F. Kimball; daughter, Caitlyn Agnes Kimball, both of Irmo, SC; granddaughter, Paislee Elkins; Caitlyn’s mother, Melissa Kimball, as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Chris was preceded in death by his father as well as his sister, Caroline Kimball.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 27, 2024 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel, from 3:00 until 5:00 pm.
