SuElla Jones

Sue was born February 3, 1942 in Decatur, Texas. She was the only child of Gladys and Weldon Crim. She married Eddie Jones in Chillicothe, Texas on March 31, 1961. The couple celebrated 54 years of marriage together this past March.

Sue was raised in Bowie, Texas. She graduated from Bowie High School with her high school sweetheart and love of her life, Eddie. She served as the organist at First Baptist Church in Bowie during her teenage years.

In 1964, the couple moved to Iowa Park, Texas where they resided and raised their daughter, Tanya. Sue was a member of Faith Baptist Church, Iowa Park. She enjoyed playing both the piano and organ at church through the years.

She received her Bachelor of Arts in Education in 1976 from Midwestern State University. Sue had numerous jobs throughout her life, but her favorite job was being a grandmother.

Her hobbies included collecting antique jewelry, telling stories, playing games, and visiting with friends at the beauty shop. She was an avid animal lover and enjoyed spoiling her dogs almost as much as her grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gladys Fincher Crim and Sidney Weldon Crim.

Survivors include her husband, Eddie Jones of Iowa Park, Texas; her daughter, Tanya Moser and husband, Darryl Moser of Wichita Falls, Texas; and her four grandchildren, Mindy, Mallory, Mitchell, and Michael Moser.

Visitation will be held at 4707 Reginald Drive in Wichita Falls on Thursday, December 10, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, December 11, 2015 at Highland Cemetery Pavilion in Iowa Park, Texas.
