Funeral Services will be held at 10 AM on Friday, December 22, 2011 in the chapel at Dutton Funeral Home with Rev. Earl Correl, pastor, Northside Baptist Church and Orlin Reynolds officiating. Graveside Services will follow at the Randlett Cemetery in Randlett, OK under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home in Iowa Park.
Ruby was born May 1, 1914 in Randlett to Samuel and Effie (Peacock) Braden. She married Ralph Leo in St. Louis, Missouri in the late 1940’s and lived in the Wichita Falls area all of her life. She was a member of Highland Heights Baptist Church and was a homemaker who loved spending her time cooking, crocheting, gardening, and loved being involved in her church.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; five brothers, Albert, Ray F., Roy, Manuel, and Sam Braden; and three sisters, Dorothy Braden, Ethel Nichols, and Alta Mae Braden.
Surviving relatives include her sister, Betty Jo Braden of Iowa Park; sisters-in-law, Norma Braden of Lufkin, TX and Nila Braden of Maitland, FL; her special friend, Anna Erskine of Wichita Falls; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held from 6 to 8 PM on Thursday, December 22, 2011 at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the Friendly Door Senior Citizens, 810 North 3rd St. Iowa Park, TX 76367 or to the Randlett Cemetery Association.
