Roger Reid

Roger was born on July 18. 1959 to Roy and Christine Reid in Wichita Falls. After Roger graduated from Iowa Park High School in 1977, he went on to study Criminal Justice at Midwestern State University where he received his Bachelor’s degree.

Roger worked at Sealed Air Corporation in Iowa Park for over 40 years.

He had one daughter, Lyndsey who, along with her family, was his pride and joy.

Roger enjoyed Oklahoma football, spending time with his family, watching his grandchildren grow, listening to music, going to concerts, and attending the various activities his grandchildren, nieces and nephew participated in.

He was a sweet soul that was kind to all and enjoyed making people laugh. He was a generous giver and would help anyone.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Christine Reid. He is survived by his daughter Lyndsey Curtis and husband Jason of Decatur and their children Dawson and Dylan. Sister Amber Davis and husband Terry of Wichita Falls. Nephew Chad Davis and his wife Jennifer of Holliday and their children Hope and Heston. Niece Jessica and her husband Justin of Wichita Falls and their children Paisley and Berkley.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 8th from 6-8pm. Services will be on Wednesday, November 9th at 2pm. Both will be held at Dutton’s Funeral Home in Iowa Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Operation Smile, an organization Roger felt strongly about.
