Richard "Rick" Alan Ervin

IOWA PARK - Richard Alan “Rick” Ervin, 48, passed away Sunday, January 23, 2011 in Wichita Falls. Memorial Services will be held at 10 AM on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at the Dutton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dennis Neal officiating.

Rick was born August 24, 1962 in Abilene, Texas. He graduated from Iowa Park High School in 1981 and was an avid football fan. He dearly loved his family. He was preceded in death by his father, James H. Ervin, Jr. and his grandparents, Walter and Minnie Clements and Henry and Olma Ervin.

Surviving relatives include his wife, Mary Beth (Rother) Ervin of Iowa Park; four sons, Jeff Alan Ervin of Wichita Falls; Justin Kyle Ervin of Iowa Park; Jacob Ervin and his fiancé, Holly Nancy of Iowa Park; and Dillon Nicholson-Ervin of Iowa Park; his mother, Ruby Ervin (Clements) Dressler and step father, Jonathan Dressler of Iowa Park; two sisters, Linda Halstead and her husband, Harry of Iowa Park; and Patti Cray and her husband, Mike of Wichita Falls; two brothers, J.D. Ervin and his wife, Karon and Darel Ervin, all of Iowa Park; and two grandchildren, Cristian Ervin of Abilene, Texas and Raleigh Ervin of Delaware
