Patricia was born in Appanoose, Illinois on July 16,1941 to Hardy L and Ducie Reu. She later married Tommy Jares in 1960 in Wichita Falls, Texas after meeting at the grocery store. Together they had 2 sons, Johnny and James.
Patricia was a cherished homemaker and a devout member of the Iowa Park Methodist Church, where she served with grace and devotion, always willing to help others.
Patricia is survived by her son Johnny Jares; her son James Jares; and her grandson Kyle Jares.
She was preceded in death by husband Tommy Jares, daughter-in-law Caroline Jares, parents Hardy L and Ducie Reu, sister Katherine Montgomery, and brother Glen Reu.
A memorial service will occur Monday, November 25, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Dutton Funeral Home, 300 E Cash St., Iowa Park, Texas.
