Margaret Jean Bertrand McGraw

Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, December 29, 2012 at First Baptist Church of Iowa Park with Rev. Glen Pearce officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home of Iowa Park, Texas.

Margaret was born September 25, 1939 in Albany, New York to Leon and Ruth (McMaster) Bertrand. Margaret worked for Newcomers Funeral Home in Kansas City, Missouri and as a CNA for a nursing home in Springfield, Missouri prior to moving to Iowa Park, Texas. She was a homemaker and attended First Baptist Church of Iowa Park. She and Paul McGraw were married November 2, 1957 in Fairmont, Indiana. They moved to Iowa Park, September 25, 2009 coming from Grandview, Missouri.

Margaret was a strong supporter of numerous charitable organizations.

Her parents, a sister, Mary Bertrand and sister-in-law, Joy Bertrand preceded her in death.

She is survived by her husband, Paul McGraw of Iowa Park; children, Dave McGraw of Walsenburg, Colorado, Judi Lowman and husband, Bret of Iowa Park, Brian McGraw and wife, Angel of Boys Ranch, Texas, and Bethany Buffington and husband, Doug of Springfield, Missouri, siblings, Richard Bertrand and wife, Linda of Florida, Bob Bertrand and wife, Wilna of Michigan, Bill Bertrand and wife, Beverly of Arkansas, Mac Bertrand and wife, Cyndi of Arizona, Pam Clement and husband, Ray of Virginia, John Bertrand and wife, Debbie of New York, Shirley Kompf and husband Joe of New York, grandchildren, Jeremy Lowman, Jason McGraw and wife Jayme, Jennifer Stokes and husband, Joseph, Amanda Rhodd and husband, Brice, Cimbre Hunter and husband, Patrick, Brooke Dyer, Josh Buffington, David Buffington, Klifden McGraw and Andrew Buffington; 13 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials are suggested to the Children’s Ministry of First Baptist Church of Iowa Park, Texas.
