Howard Neil Crum

Funeral service will be at 10 am Thursday, February 26, 2015 at Dutton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dennis Neal officiating. Burial will be at 2:30 pm at Paoli, Oklahoma under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home of Iowa Park, Texas.

Neil was born September 20, 1932 in Custer, Oklahoma to Riley and Nellie McGill Crum. After the death of Riley when Howard was 2, she married Dave Tuley who raised him as his own. He and Sylvia Jewell Fair were married August 26, 1973 in Wichita Falls, Texas. He worked for the Daily Democrat in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma and retired in 1993 from Times Record News after 30 years of employment. He lived in the Wichita Falls area for 35 years. He was a Baptist.

His parents and stepfather, Dave Tuley, preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife, Jewell of Wichita Falls, Texas; children, Suzette Crum Hamilton and husband, Robert of Wichita Falls, Paula Cresswell and husband, Richard of Wichita Falls, Neil Edwin Crum of Pennsylvania, James Randell Crum of Ardmore, Oklahoma and Howard Dean Crum and wife, Katherine of Utah; grandchildren, Jade Bustos and husband, Pablo, Twila Barfield and husband, Billy, Nancy Rakestraw and husband, Devin, Terri Rust and husband Kyle, Melissa Cresswell, Jeremy Crum, Cody Crum, Little Jamie Crum, Jesse Randell Crum, Lauren Crum, Raya Vasquez and husband, Keon, Kelsey Crum and fiancée, Tyler Pridemore, Rachael Metcalf and husband, Klint, Conner Crum, Ashlyn Crum, Amie Kendrick and Melissa Crum; 14 great grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter and a great-great grandson on the way.

Visitation will be 6 until 8 pm, Wednesday, February 26, 2015 at Dutton Funeral Home.
