Harlan Eugene Anderson, 72, passed away February 4, 2020 in Wichita Falls, Texas. There are no services scheduled at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home in Iowa Park, Texas.
Harlan was born November 17, 1947 in Stephenville, Texas. He attended and graduated from Stinnett High School in Stinnett, Texas. Harlan was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the US Army. He worked for Phillips Petroleum for 20 years and later retired from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice at the James V. Allred Unit as a Correctional Officer. Harlan was a Dallas Cowboy fan and loved to play golf, but most of all, loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Harlan was preceded in death by his parents, Wade and Hazel Ruth (Johnson) Coffee; son, Craig Anthony Anderson; grandson, Caleb Harlan Anderson; and brother, Timothy Dale Coffee.
Surviving relatives include his siblings, Wayne F. Coffee of Elgin, Oklahoma; Donna M. Johnson of Iowa Park, Texas; and Max W. Coffee of Iowa Park; and one granddaughter, Katherine Eloise Anderson of Wichita Falls.
