Darwin Paul Watson, 62, passed away Monday, November 20, 2017 in Burkburnett, Texas. Services will be held at 2 PM on Monday, November 27, 2017 in the pavilion at Highland Cemetery in Iowa Park, Texas. Services are under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home in Iowa Park.
Darwin was born May 10, 1955 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Allen Ray and Pauline Bernice (Mundt) Watson. Darwin was a 1974 graduate of Iowa Park High School. He worked his way from Machine Cleaner to the President of the Blow Mold Division at Preston Dairy in Burkburnett. For the last five years, Darwin worked for the Beacon Lighthouse For The Blind in Wichita Falls where he worked in rebuilding printer cartridges. He enjoyed fishing with his dad and golfing with his brothers and many friends. Darwin was always jolly and full of jokes, enjoying conversations with his friends on any subject. He was a fine human being, funny, kind, straightforward, honest and loyal. He was dearly loved by family and friends. We will all miss him greatly.
Darwin is preceded in death by his parents.
Surviving relatives include his brother, Danny Watson and his wife, Karen of Fort Worth, Texas; brother, Robert and wife, Kay of Fort Worth, Texas; nieces, Tia Sheldon of Fort Worth, Allison Williams of Dallas and Melissa Mehall of Fort Worth; two nephews, Darren Watson of La Marque, Texas and Ryan Watson of Sugar Land, Texas; five great nieces and three great nephews.
Memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Association.
