Robert James Chiasson

Robert James Chiasson - 53, Inverness, formerly from Margaree, NS. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bobby Chiasson on Monday, August 30, 2010, at home. Born in Cheticamp, he was the son of the late John and Etta Chiasson. Bobby was known for his hard work ethic and dedication in everything he did. He was a member of Labourers' Union, locals 1115 & 92. He worked out west for Respco as a labourer since 2008 and previously was employed at Mabou Gardens. Bobby will always be remembered for his humour, generousity and kindness. He was always ready for a friendly competition, enjoying darts, playing cards, golf and curling. He cherished riding his bike, and loved nothing better than a good home cooked meal. A loving husband, brother, father and grandfather; Bobby is survived by his devoted wife, Jodie (Gillis) Chiasson, brothers, Kenny (Jean) Chisholm, Windsor, NS ;Tommy (Harriet) Chiasson, Margaree; Joey (Wanda) Chiasson, Margaree; sisters, Sharon Chiasson Hyrb (Bill) Toronto, Ont., Angie (Frank) LeBlanc, Margaree; Linda (Richard) Timmons, Inverness and sister in law, Paulette Chiasson. Bobby was a caring father to Bobby Joe, Candace, Bryan, Christina, Eddie and step children R.J. & Jamie. He will also be missed by his beloved grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Bobby was predeceased by his parents and brother, Johnny Chiasson. Cremation has taken place. There will be no service at the request of the family.
