Stephen Bell

Stephen Bell was born on July 10, 1962, in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late James Henry Bell and Doris Elizabeth Bell. He departed on Monday, May 8, 2023. Stevie, as he was affectionately called by his family, was educated at the Indianapolis Public Schools, graduating from Shortridge High School. Stevie professed his faith in Jesus Christ at an early age. He was baptized at United Methodist Church. Stevie worked for Community Hospital for almost 25 years as both a dietary technician and nursing assistant. As an avid sports fan, Stevie attended as many Pacers games as he could. He also watched sporting events on TV, making sure he was not disturbed by turning off his phone. He really enjoyed nature, riding his bike, running marathons, and sitting in the park enjoying the outdoors. Stevie loved going back home to Tennessee. He would visit frequently enjoying time with family and friends. Stevie was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He leaves to cherish his memory his son, Marcus Bell; his grand-daughter Nature Christina Bell, his sisters Pamela Bell-Lake (Anthony), Marilyn Bell and his brother Chauncey Bell. Devoted niece and nephews Martina Jackson, Christopher Bell, and Jeff Patton. Great-nephews Chody Patton, Chandler Patton, and Chasen Patton. Uncle, Maryland Bell Jr. (Connie). Aunts; Mary Rose Ramey (Warner), Patsy Spicer (George), Ellen Bell (Charlie), Ada Bell (Harold), Lois Collier (Louis). Devoted cousin Lisa Collier and devoted friend Karis Rogers and a host of cousins and friends.
