Shirley Denise Smith-Reid,57 , of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on September 23, 2022 in Indianapolis, IN .
Shirley Denise Smith-Reid was born Greensboro, North Carolina to Ernest Coles and Shirley Cherry on January 19, 1965.
She graduated from Chatham High School. Her positive personality, dedication, hard work and overall zest for life was a recipe for success as a business owner. She ran Baby Zone Child Care for more than 21 years. Shirley Denise Smith-Reid is preceded in death by her son: Dexter Smith Sr father: Ernest Cole, mother; Shirley Dorsett sister; Treva Cherry
Shirley Denise Smith-Reid is survived by her sons Adrian Smith, Kameron D. Smith Sr, Dominic A. Smith, Jeremy W Floyd, Jacob B Floyd and Jason A. Floyd ; daughters Camelia D. Smith, Finesse L Smith. Daughter in law Quashawnda L Smith, Sisters Terri Liggins, Frankie Ford, Ernecia Coles, Jocelyn Coles, Alveria Coles brothers; John Graves Jr Grandchildren; Dynasti’ N. Smith, Dae’Shawnda E Smith, Jordan M Smith, DaJanae A Smith, Tristan Anthony Brown, Dexter M, Smith Jr, Sophie Elizabeth Brown.
Visitation will be held from 10am to 1pm October 1, 2022 at Crown Hill Funeral Home
Funeral services will be held 1p 10/01/2022 at Crown Hill Funeral Home with the Reverend Malachi Walker of Great Commission of God, officiating. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Crown Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery.
