Robert K. Stimac

Robert K. Stimac, age 71, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2022. Bob was born July 17, 1951, in Terre Haute, Indiana to John and Imogene (Morgan) Stimac. He was a graduate of Garfield High School, attended Rose Polytechnic Institute, and graduated from Purdue University in 1975. On October 16, 1993, he married Carol Hinkle in Indianapolis. They had one son, John Stimac who they named after Bob’s father. Bob worked most of his life as a Chief Information Officer. He was a kind and gentle soul who loved making memories with his family and friends. Bob enjoyed basketball, golf, and working outside. He was preceded in death by his father, John Stimac. Bob is survived by his loving wife, Carol Hinkle Stimac; his beloved son, John Stimac; his loving mother, Imogene Stimac; siblings, Randy (Diane) Stimac, Susan (Steve) Butts, sister-in-law, Nancy Hinkle, and brother-in-law Larry Lux, as well as a host of nieces and nephews, Angela Fox, Gary Kehoe, Jennifer (Dave) Haag, Michael (Julie) Stimac, Danielle (Clayton) Davis, Mark Hinkle, Ben (Emilie) Hinkle, Elizabeth Lux, and Eleanor Hinkle. A visitation for Bob will be held on Thursday, October 27th from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Leppert Mortuary – Nora Chapel. A funeral service for Bob will begin at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 28th at Leppert Mortuary – Nora Chapel. Interment follows at Union Chapel Cemetery in Indianapolis.
