Our beloved brother, Robert (Bobby) Long, 58, passed away at his home December 1, 2024 in Danville, Indiana. Robert was born in Beech Grove, Indiana, May 12, 1966 to the late Ralph E. Long and the late Judith Fraizer. In Robert's early years he studied Journalism and American History at Indiana University. He went on to get his Masters degree. He was a former team leader at RCI.
Bobby had a big heart. He was very book smart and loved history. He had a sense of humor. He and his sister, Becky Sue, were "partners in crime". He was kind. Even though he had struggles, he never let bitterness in his heart. After his Mother passed, he struggled, but never gave up. He leaned on his sister, Ruth, for support. As they both grew up together, they were very close. They shared the same security blanket. His brother, Ralph, was such a big help to him during the years helping him out in any way he could.
Robert is preceded in death by his father, Ralph E. Long Sr., his mother, Judith A Fraizer, stepfather, Robert R. Fraizer, grandmother (Gramsie) Helen Johnson, special Uncle, Jim Johnson, one sister, Sharon Lynn, and two brothers, Larry Long and Randy Long.
Robert is survived by his two brothers, Ralph (Rebecca) Long of Danville, Indiana and Loren (Mallory) Long of Zionsville, Indiana; and three sisters, Ruth (Robert) Street Jr. of Eldorado, Illinois, Rebecca Adkins of Greenwood, Indiana and Nancy (Doug) Sims of Indianapolis, Indiana, one nephew, Jonathan (Meagan) Street of Louisville, Kentucky; One great nephew, Jaxon Street; his cat- Cole and his dog- Katy
