Fishers, IN. He was born in Noblesville, IN, on May 24, 1974, the son of Donna and Robert
Glenn and Richard Reilly. He was a 1992 graduate of Lincoln High School in Vincennes, IN.
Phil served his country honorably in the U.S. Army and the Army National Guard, deploying
with the 101st Airborne Division in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003. His total
service encompassed twenty-one years beginning in 1992 and ending with his retirement in
2013. During his tenure in the Army, he received his BS in Business Administration and his
MBA from Park University. After retirement, Phil worked for the U.S. Secret Service from 2014
to 2018 and then began employment with Guidehouse, serving in support of the U.S. Army
Financial Management Command. Phil is survived by his loving wife Allison and five children:
SGT Andrew Reilly and Colin, Keegan, Garrett, and Sheila Reilly. He is additionally survived
by his mother Donna Glenn, and siblings Richard Reilly (Monica) and Sherry Dawson (Mitch),
and Allison’s parents, Allen and Debbie Pfundtner, and sisters Amy Parker (John) and Deanna
Price (Josh).
During his twenty-one year career in the U.S. Army and Army National Guard, Phil was
awarded the Bronze Star and the Joint Service Commendation Medals for contributions in
Operation Iraqi Freedom; he was also awarded the Meritorious Service Medal (2nd award);
Army Commendation Medal (3rd award); Army Achievement Medal (7th award); Army Good
Conduct Medal (2nd award); The National Defense Service Medal; Global War on Terrorism
Service Medal; Korean Defense Service Medal; Iraq Campaign Medal with Campaign Star;
Non-Commissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon (2nd award); Army Service
Ribbon; Overseas Service Ribbon (2nd Award); Army Staff Identification Badge. Phil was an
active member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) and The American Society of Military
Comptrollers.
After his retirement, Phil enjoyed attending his children’s athletic events and serving as a leader
with the Boy Scouts of America; in addition, he enjoyed spending time with his eldest sons in
Colorado and Virginia, relaxing on the beach and playing golf with friends and family. Phil was
also an avid historian and amateur genealogist who loved archiving old family photos.
A private memorial service will be held at Orchard Park Presbyterian Church in Carmel on
Saturday, August 8, with Pastor Mike Samson officiating. A private interment will follow at the
Crown Hill National Cemetery Field of Valor in Indianapolis. In lieu of flowers, memorial
