 Obituario de Paul F. Nicolucci
Paul F. Nicolucci, 91, of Carmel, departed this life Thursday, November 16, 2023. He was born December 4, 1931 in East Rochester, New York to the late Giovanni and Terese (DeLucia) Nicolucci. As a first generation American, Paul was incredibly patriotic and also celebrated his Italian heritage. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He served in the Signal Corp as a “Cable Dog” and would later serve with the 3rd Infantry Regiment “The Old Guard” – Honor Guard at Arlington National Cemetery. He took great pride and was truly honored to serve within this detail at America’s finest cemetery. Paul earned his degree in economics from St. Bonaventure University, and then earned his master’s degree from New York University. From Detroit, Michigan, Paul moved to Indianapolis in 1974 to raise his family and pursue his insurance career. He had worked for Republic National Life and then opened his own Insurance firm, S & N Benefits retiring after fifty years in 2020. Paul was a kind and gentle soul who loved all things Italy. Paul lived for family, faith and golf. He loved being with his family and having fun. He was a longtime and dedicated member of St. Pius X Catholic Church and was a regular and familiar face at Old Oakland Golf Club for over forty years. Paul also loved to travel and experience different cultures. Paul is survived by his loving children, Maria C. (Duane) Wimer, John P. (Archana Rajendra) Nicolucci, Joseph P. (Maria C.) Nicolucci, Anne E. (Andrew) Tanner and nine grateful grandchildren. Paul was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 42 years, Suzanne A. Ambrose Nicolucci and his dear siblings, Peter (Fran) Nicolucci, Julia Nicolucci, Louis (Jeanne) Nicolucci and Ann Marie (Donald) Nicolucci. Visitation for Paul will be from 4-6 pm on Sunday, November 19th at Feeney-Hornak Keystone Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 12:00pm on Monday, November 20th at St. Pius X Catholic Church. Interment follows at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to St. Meinrad Arch Abbey, Little Sisters of the Poor or to St. Pius X Catholic Church.
