Nancy A. Boylan passed away February 5, 2022. She was born at Camp Atterbury on October 27, 1952 the daughter of Gordon and Anna Nichols. She married James J Boylan on March 2, 1974 at Zion Evangelical United Church of Christ in Indianapolis. She is survived by her three sons, Scott (Gwen), Peter (Heather), and Chris. Her grandchildren are Samantha (Nicholas) Keppol, Ryan Boylan and Caitlyn Boylan. She is also survived by her sister Robin and brother, Keith (Linda), She was preceded in death by her husband James, her parents and her granddaughter Hannah Boylan.
Nancy graduated from Northwest High School in 1970. She volunteered as a Teen Tonic with Cerebral Palsied Adults, worked as a ward secretary at the VA Hospital and was a secretary for Dr. Hill. But her most loved job was working as a Secretary at Meredith Nicholson IPS #96 for over 35 years. Here she helped multiple staff, families and students. They became her extended family and she loved them all dearly.
Nancy was a life-long member of Zion Evangelical United Church of Christ where she served faithfully in many capacities. She had been a member of the Board, President of the Evening Guild, taught Sunday School, led Vacation Bible School and was a Summer Camp Director at Merom.
The family would like to thank all her family and friends for their love and support during her illness.
