Michael Dodd

Mr. Michael Dodd, 55 years old, of Indianapolis IN, passed away on January 18th , 2023 in Indianapolis IN. Michael was born Indianapolis, IN to Frank Dodd and Fannie Mae Dodd (Townsend) on December 28th, 1967. He married Shawna Ware Dodd on July 7th , 2014 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He graduated from Warren Central High School in 1986. Michael was a retired Marine Corp Veteran, serving in the Persian Gulf War also known as Operation Desert Storm/First Gulf War in 1991. Michael was awarded Sea Service Deployment Ribbon x2, National Defense Service medal, Southeast Asia Service medal x2, Meritorious Mast, and Rifle Expert Badge. Michael is preceded in death by Fannie Mae Townsend Dodd and Frank Dodd. Michael is survived by Shawna Ware Dodd and Quentin Sean Smith (Dodd), sisters Daphne L Barker, Stephanie Dodd, Cynthia Ward, Belinda Charles Ford, Charmane Kendrick Coleman and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces/nephews, and aunts/uncles. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Friday February 3rd, 2023 at Crown Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, 700 W 38th St. Indianapolis, Indiana 46208 with Reverend William Martin of Community Lifeline Christian Church officiating. No burial will follow.
