Melissa Ann Merritt

Melissa "Missy" Ann Merritt, age 43, of Speedway, Indiana passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2022. Melissa was born June 13, 1979 in Indianapolis, Indiana the daughter of Gary Merritt and Debbie (Smith) Merritt. She graduated from Speedway High School with the Class of 1997 and was a Buyer/Procurement Specialist for several corporations. She was preceded in death by her father and the father of her children, Jimmy A. Jones

Melissa is survived by her children,Tyler A. Merritt-Jones and daughter-in-law, Brooklynn Evans Aaron J. Jones and his wife Suzette, and Benjamin R. Wilson; her mother, Debbie Merritt; step-daddy, Jeffery Merrill her sisters, Angel M. Grubbs and Amanda Speer; her granddaughter, Arabella F. Merritt-Jones; nieces, Chelcie, Trinity, Ashlyn, Kennedy, Samantha, Raven and Briella and a great nephew Gabriel.

A Celebration of Melissa's life will be held on Sunday, October 2, 2022 at 3:00 PM at Family Funeral Care, 5791 Rockville Road, Indianapolis, Indiana. A Memorial Gathering will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Sunday at Family Funeral Care.
