Matthew E. Speck

Matthew E. Speck, age 48, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Friday, February 25, 2022. Matthew was born July 14, 1973 and was a graduate of Roncalli High School. Following in the footsteps of his father, Matt was appointed to the Indianapolis Fire Department on May 06, 1996 and dedicated his life to firefighting and the brotherhood. He wanted everyone to know, "I loved the job and everything it did for me." He retired on December 03, 2021. Matt's most proud achievement was the birth of his two children, son Nolan (18) and daughter Charlotte (6). He leaves them in the loving care of family and God's protection, and prays they never forget how much he loves them. Matthew is survived by his mother Donna Speck, son Nolan Speck (Jamie Speck), daughter Charlotte Speck (Britney McMahan), and brother Robert (Sheila) Speck. He was preceded in death by his father Lawrence Speck. Visitation will be held Sunday, March 6, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Little & Sons Funeral Home, 4901 E Stop Eleven Road, Indianapolis, Indiana 46237, followed by a memorial service at 6:00 PM.
