69, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family by her side, after a long struggle with ovarian cancer. She was born in Beech Grove, IN to the late Verl and Eleanora Smith.
Martie was a secretary in the banking industry for many years; and was a lifelong member of St. Jude Catholic Church, where she enjoyed volunteering in parish activities and coaching volleyball and kickball.
She is survived by her loving husband Bill Ramsey of 46 years; children Mike (Jean) Ramsey, Rob (Kathleen) Ramsey, Kelly (Pat) Yohler, and Brian (Sherry) Ramsey and grandchildren Stephanie, Chad, Abby, Cassie, Danny, Rachel, Marie, and Matthew. Martie was preceded in death by her brother James Smith and sister Barbara Okey.
Visitation will be held Tuesday Oct. 9th at Little & Sons Funeral Home Stop 11 Chapel from 4:00-8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Jude Catholic Church at 11:00 AM Wed. Oct. 10th . Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. www.littleandsonsindianapolis.com
