 Obituario de Margaret Anne "Maggie" Gann
Margaret Anne (Branning) Gann, 91, of Indianapolis, IN passed away November 14, 2024. She was born May 9, 1933 in Indianapolis to Frederick Hiram and Emma Laura Mae (Dodge) Branning. She graduated from Broad Ripple High School. She worked for 22 years at McNamara Florist as a bookkeeper. She was a long-time member of Evanston Wesleyan Church. A life-long Christian who was dedicated to God, family and friends, Maggie loved to work on projects ranging from quilting to refinishing furniture. She loved classical music and musicals. An avid reader and the local poet, Maggie could recite stories and poems she had learned at a young age. One of her favorites was “Little Orphant Annie”. She was quick-witted and loved to joke. She would do anything for anyone and will be missed by all that loved her. She is preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Samuel F. Gann, son Paul Frederick Gann, daughter Kelly Beth Gosman, brothers George and Thomas Branning, sisters Carolyn Trowbridge and Mary Denton. She is survived by her daughters Mariann Hunnicutt and Whitney Crush; grandchildren Robert Gann, Nathan (Heather) and Shane Hunnicutt, Kaitlyn (Bryce) Johnston, Karla Grendell, Kristine Gosman, Caleb (Christina) Gosman, Kyle (Amber) Gosman, Kayleigh Gosman, Megan and Sydney Crush; and 17 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Saturday, November 30 at Evanston Wesleyan Church from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with funeral services immediately following. Memorial contributions can be made to Evanston Wesleyan Church.
