Lawrence "Junebug/Junior" Herbert Moore Jr. was a caring father, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. On July 28, 2022 while peacefully sleeping, he transitioned from this earthly realm at the age of 58. When facing life challenges, Lawrence showed tenacity and courage with a smile.
Lawrence Jr. was born on July 20, 1964 to Mrs. Mary (Thomas) and Mr. Lawrence Moore Sr. in Indianapolis, IN. Both Mrs. and Mr. Lawrence Moore Sr. predeceased their son.
Upon graduating from Arlington High School in 1982, Lawrence Jr. achieved his childhood ambitions with a career in the security industry. Lawrence's hobbies included riding motorcycles, listening to jazz, watching basketball, baseball and playing coed softball.
Lawrence Jr. is survived by his daughter, Paige Arianna Moore; sisters, Janet Moore, Toni Moore, Vickie (Ty) Peterson and Teresa (Pierre) Peterson; one uncle, William Levy; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, friends and his brother from another mother & father, Kent Archer Broaden.
The Family and friends gathering is Saturday, August 13, 2022 from 1:00-2:00PM at Crown Hill Funeral Home, 700 West 38th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46208.
Service at 2:00PM and interment of ashes immediately following.
Pastor James Payton of Good Shepherd Missionary Baptist Church will officiate the service.
The family requests those who wish to express monetary expressions of sympathy to consider making a donation to their favorite charity in Lawrence Moore Jr.'s name.
