Larry Murphy

Larry Frederick Murphy, of Indianapolis passed away on May 17, 2022 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Larry Frederick Murphy was born in Indianapolis, Indiana to Robert Bishop Rogers and Annie Lee Murphy on June 6, 1951. He attended Arsenal Technical High School In Indianapolis. He married his love, Gayle Patrice Murphy of Indianapolis on January 24, 1981. He received his certification in continued studies at IUPUI (Electronics). He worked as a Coach Operator for the Indianapolis Public Transportation Corporation/IndyGo for 23 years. He received many Safe Driving Awards. Larry had a love for electronics, photography and Jazz music; he also had a strong interest in preparedness and outdoor living. Larry is preceded in death by his Father Richard Bell and his Mother Annie Lee Bell. Larry is survived by is Wife, Gayle Patrice Murphy; Son, Larry Frederick Murphy Jr., and a host of cousins. Visitation will be from 10am to 12pm on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at Crown Hill Funeral Home, located at 700 W. 38th Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46208. Funeral Services will be held at 12pm on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at Crown Hill Funeral Home, Minister Gale J. Watson of the Neighborhood Bible Church Officiating, burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery, Arrangements are by Crown Hill Funeral Home.
