Sympathy  & prayers to her family.  She was certainly an accomplished woman who will be greatly missed by her family & friends. 
I grew up on Ruggles Ferry Rd just a little ways from where she & her family lived. I attended Carter School with some of her siblings & maybe with her. I especially remember her sister Anita because we were in the same grade & had classes together. 
May God grant the family grace & strength  during your time of loss.
