Joyce Hatfield

Joyce Hatfield, age 80, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2023. Joyce was born on July 20, 1943 in Indianapolis, Indiana the daughter of the late William Hinesley, Sr. and Mabel (Wilson) Hinesley.

Joyce loved Halloween and her Community. This year's Halloween event will be held in her memory. The event: October 28, 2023 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Shelton Heights Park, 3844 Rockville Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana 46241.

Joyce is survived by her children: Debra Parish and Mark Hatfield, sister: Karen Gann, brothers: William Hinesley, Jr. (Rosie), Steve Hinesley (Rita), and Mike (Helayne) Hinesley, grandchildren: Amber, Larry and Jason and great grandchildren: Kara, Oliver, Trinity, Dustin and Parker. Joyce helped raise many children that were not hers and she is Mom and Grandma and great grandma to many. She preceded in death by her husband of 32 years: Larry Hatfield, Sr., son: Larry Hatfield, Jr., and three siblings: Danny and David Hinesley and Diane Holtz.

Joyce was a member of Thompson Road Baptist Church and an active supporter of Shelton Heights Park on Rockville Ave.

A visitation for Joyce was held Thursday, August 3, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Family Funeral Care-Rockville West, 5791 Rockville Rd, Indianapolis, Indiana 46224. The visitation occured Friday, August 4, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, 5791 Rockville Rd, Indianapolis, Indiana 46224. The funeral service was on Friday, August 4, 2023 at 1:00 PM, 5791 Rockville Rd, Indianapolis, Indiana 46224.

Joyce was laid to rest in Mooresville Cemetery, Mooresville, Indiana.
