John Leroy Plemons

John Leroy Plemons, 70, passed away May 19, 2013 in Indianapolis. He was born in Fairmont, Indiana to the late John and Leona Plemons. John was an Iron Worker in the Construction Industry and was proud that he worked on the tallest building in Indiana, the Chase Tower. He was a Vietnam War Veteran, a member of the 101st Airborne Division. John was also a member of the Indianapolis Baptist Temple. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Karen Plemons; children, Sheris, Juli, Jay, John Leroy, Jr. and Susan Burry; two grandchildren and a brother, Jimmy Plemons. John was preceded in death by five sisters. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 23, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Little & Sons Funeral Home, Stop 11 Road Chapel. Funeral Services will be held Friday, May 24, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery. www.littleandsonsindianapolis.com
