Jack Carr Boyd, age 71, of Noblesville, IN passed away at his home surrounded by family and good friends on December 1, 2018. Born on December 11, 1946 in Indianapolis, he was the son to the late Guy F. Boyd, Jr and Bette Anne Carr Boyd. Jack graduated from Bishop Chatard High School and Butler University where he was a member of Phi Delta Theta. He was a real estate agent for 45 years and had worked with Century 21 Boyd & Sons, Century 21 Realty Group One, Prudential and currently with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Indiana Realty. Jack was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cicero, IN. He was owner and operator of Indy Trolley, an avid water skier, and wake surfer (some credit him with creating the sport after returning from Hawaii in the 1960’s with a 9 foot long board) on Morse Reservoir where he lived, and Lake Wawasee, IN. Jack served our country in the United State Air Force Reserves. He was predeceased by his lovely wife; Mary Ellen Barton Boyd along with his parents and sister; Sandi Sheetz. Jack is survived by his three children; JB (Kiki) Boyd, Chris (Libby) Boyd and daughter; Katie (Tony) James. Eight grandchildren (Patrick, Sam, Ellie, Annie, Taylor, Clay, Charlotte, and Elisabeth). His brothers are; Guy F. (Christy) Boyd, III and Gregg Carr (Debbie) Boyd.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Luke Catholic, where he was married, on Thursday December 6th at 11:00 AM. Family and friends will gather on Wednesday December 5th from 3:00 to 7:00 PM in Leppert Mortuary, Nora Chapel, 740 East 86th Street
