Erica received her education through Indianapolis Public School System, graduating from Arsenal Technical High School. She later advanced her education by attending Kaplan College and received a certificate as a Medical Assistant. She went on to work for various companies as a customer service representative with her last employment being a dietary aide at Alpha Nursing Home where the patients were drawn to her by her smile and kind words.
Erica’s greatest joy in life was being a mother. The bond she shared with her daughter, Lyric was a special one and they often called each other “their rocks.”
Erica had a smile that could light up a room and was often told she should have been a model. She was loved by so many and the light of her family’s life being that she was the baby. Although she never worked in the medical field, she was considered the family go to with medical problems. She was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Family bar-b-ques were her favorite and she was first in line for a hot dog.
