Jean Love Jean Love, 86, of Indianapolis died Tuesday, March 29, 2011. Jean was born April 20, 1924 in Pittsburgh to Dr. & Mrs. W. W. Wilkinson. Jean and her brother John were raised in New Castle, PA where their father was a medical examiner for the Pennsylvania Railroad. She loved spending summers at her Grandmother's farm in Meadville. Jean graduated from high school in 1942. She was a talented artist and attended art school in Pittsburgh. In 1944 she moved to Indianapolis to study at John Herron School of Art. While at Herron she met fellow artist, Dane Love. They married in December of 1947 and had three children and five grandchildren. Jean and Dane recently celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary. They have been blessed with loving friends and family. As a life-long student of art, Jean became an accomplished weaver and watercolor artist. Her work ranged from the practical to the fanciful. During the couple's travels, Jean carried small sketch-books and filled them with wonderful drawings and colorful notations. Jean was predeceased by her husband Dane who died January 21, 2011. She is survived by her children; Sara Love (John Trittipo), Dane W. (Beverly), and Nannette Love (Fabio Castellotto) and grandchildren; Julian Trittipo, Lindsey and Dane R. Love, and Luca and Adrian Castellotto. A memorial will be held Sunday, April 17 at Crown Hill Funeral Home in Indianapolis. Calling from 1:00 to 2:30 PM. Memorial service at 2:30 PM.
