Elijah D. Childs

Elijah Darrel Childs was born on February 27, 2002 to Raymond and Kezzie Childs. Elijah attended William Penn School #49 for K-8th grade and George Washington High School. Elijah was a beautiful little boy at birth with his mother’s same beautiful smile. He was a momma’s boy deep down. Elijah prided himself at being the eldest male of his siblings and like his father he was a protector. His dreams were big as his personality and smile. He saw his future with his children and aspired to be the best dad he could be. Elijah dedicated his self to his music, so much that started a new group music group MLG, “Moonlight Gorillas”. Elijah was preceded in death by his daughter Royalty Shanelia Childs, paternal grandmother, Rita Richardson-Childs, paternal great-grandmother Irene Jenkins, maternal great-grandmother Nelia Winston and maternal great-grandfather Otis White. Elijah leaves to cherish his memory 1 son Elijah Jr.,3 sisters; Kayla, T’ana, Naomi, 2 brothers; Raymond III, Xavier, 2 nieces; Kabriella and Zarielle and a host of loving family and friends.
