Diane Kay Schultz Browning was born on August 5, 1953 in Indianapolis, Indiana and passed from this earthly life on April 6, 2024. She was the daughter of Edward Paul Schultz Sr. and Edithmae Heck Schultz who preceded her in death.
Diane married the love of her life, Michael Browning, on April 12, 1996. She retired from the Internal Revenue Service with 25 years of service as an Excise Tax Examiner. Diane’s hobbies were reading, crafting, coloring, singing, bird watching, and watching NASCAR. She was a true-blue Colts fan. She also enjoyed hosting holiday parties, especially Halloween. One of her favorite activities was simply being with the grandchildren and great grandchildren and watching them participate in sports, school activities, and whatever they had an interest in. She had a deep love for all creatures, great and small, but especially turtles, hummingbirds and all things living, especially people.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Michael Browning, sons, Aaron (Cory) Schultz, Chris (Sheree Salmon) Browning, Jared Scott (Nicole) Browning, daughter, Stacy (Bobby) Buescher. Grandchildren, Lauren Schultz, Ethan Schultz, Cory (Sami) Browning, Caden Browning, Cayla Browning, Teagan Dawson, Jalie Webster, Jessica Mitterling, Michael (Olivia) Browning, and Dalton (Christine) Butler. Great Grandchildren, Elizabeth Browning, Melody Diane Browning, Declan Browning, Layton Lidy, Kolton Browning, Kingston Butler, Weston Butler, Harper Browning, and Hunter Browning, sisters-in-law, Eileen Schultz, Helena Schultz, Linda Browning, Pat Lamb, and Susie Allen (Ben), and many “adopted” friends welcomed into the family.
Preceding her in death, Diane’s brothers, Edward Schultz Sr., Randal Schultz, and brothers-in-law, John David Browning, Chris Lamb, great grandchild, Sophia Kay Browning, uncles Pat (Helen) Heck, Dean (Dotty) Heck, Jack (Julie)Heck, nephew Jim Ficklin and cousin John Havenhand of North Yorkshire, England.
