Deborah Ann Chancellor, 74, passed away in Indianapolis, Indiana on March 6, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald McGee Thomas and Eunice Bell (Christman) Thomas, and her sister, Donna Lynn Thomas.
Deborah will be dearly missed by her husband, Dennis Bell; her daughter, Tracie (David) Strietelmeier; her grandchildren, Cobin Strietelmeier, Cole Strietelmeier, and Chloe Strietelmeier; her sister Jonnie Thomas (Mike O’Cull); her nieces Courtney Martin, and Allison (Mike) Abrami; as well as her great nieces and nephews, Luke Abrami, Ashlyn Abrami, and Knol Martin, and all of her extended family and friends.
Deborah graduated from Carmel High School in 1966 and studied business administration at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma. She worked at the U.S. Postal Service from 1976-1986 having spent the majority of her service at the Carmel post office. She then worked as an office manager at the American Postal Workers Union from 1986-1992; owned and ran Organization Plus from 1992-1999; was a personal secretary for Nancy Irsay for a few years; and really enjoyed working a few nights a week at Four Seasons Restaurant in Greenwood, Indiana until she retired. She was a member of the Beech Grove Chapter No 465, Order of Eastern Star.
