Darlene Olga Rumple

Darlene Olga Rumple, age 87, of Brownsburg, Indiana passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2024. Darlene was born January 2, 1937 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Hurlie and Gertrude Burdett. Darlene worked at Eli Lilly for more than 20 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Darlene is survived by her son, Steve (Cindy) Rumple and daughter, Yvonne Hise; grandchildren, Robyn Allen and Austin Rumple; great grandson, Dylan Rumple. Darlene was preceded in death by her husband, Alva Rumple; daughter, Jackie Burns; grandson, Michael Hise; son in law, Fred Hise; and siblings, Erma, Richard, Don and Jim. A visitation for Darlene will be held Monday, April 22, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Family Funeral Care-Rockville West, 5791 Rockville Rd, Indianapolis, Indiana 46224. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at 12:00 PM at Family Funeral Care-Rockville West. Darlene will be laid to rest in West Ridge Park Cemetery.
