Christopher "Chris" Thomas Linkous

40, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Monday, October 4, 2021. Christopher was born March 5, 1981 in Indianapolis, Indiana the son of Danny Lynn and Deanna (Howell) Linkous. Chris married Amy Marie Coleman on May 19, 2007.

He worked as a landscaper for many years. Chris enjoyed being outside. loved going for long walks and he enjoyed fishing. Christopher was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and was active in civil war reenactment events.

Christopher is survived by his parents, children: Tori Marie and Starla Jo Linkous, sisters: Shelley Marie (Phil) Coleman and Sara Jo (Jeff) Sichting, grandfather: Charles T. Howell, nephews: Tanner (Kayla) Wesley, Austin (Steffi) and Clay (Hannah) Sichting and Kyle Finley and nieces: Brittney (Michael) Hodgkiss and Eden Coleman and four great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife: Amy Marie "Coleman" Linkous, sister: Dana Jo Linkous, grandparents: Floyd Elmer Linkous, Betty Ann (Jarnigan) Linkous, Billie Lee (Ward) Howell and a nephew: Dustin Sichting.

A visitation for Christopher will be held Monday, October 11, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Family Funeral Care, Indianapolis, Indiana, followed by a celebration of life at 7:00 PM.

Chris will be cremated following the service, and his remains will be laid to rest at West Newton Cemetery at a later date.
