Christle S. Stockard

Christle S. Stockard, 83, passed away on August 15,2022 in Indianapolis, IN. Christle was born in Indianapolis, IN to Leonetta Foster Long on March 28, 1939. She attended Crispus Attucks High School. She married Robert T. Stockard on April 2, 1966. After serving in the Navy (WAV), She was employed by Indianapolis Public Schools in the Office of Personnel for over 25 years. She was lifelong member of Bethel Cathedral AME Church. She was also a member of the Silhouettes of Indianapolis Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., and the Social Group Golden Girls. Christle is preceded in death by her mother, Leonetta Long, grandmother, Susie D. Goodwin, husband, Robert T. Stockard. Christle is survived by her daughter, Gina Foster and grandson, Adrian “Robbie” Johnson Jr. A Memorial gathering for Christle will be held Saturday, August 27, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Bethel Cathedral A.M.E Church, 6417 Zionsville Road, Indianapolis, Indiana 46268, followed by a Celebration of Life funeral service at 12:00 PM.
