My deepest sympathy to Gloria and family. 

I would like to extend my sincere condolences and deepest sympathy to the family, and especially to my wife's aunt Gloria Hill who was Carl's beautiful wife and longtime caregiver and caretaker.  Gloria and Carl were soulmates who were there for each other in good times and in adversities.  I loved seeing them together and do stuff together as a beautiful couple.  Carl was a beautiful soul on Earth.  He was kind, soft spoken, well versed and opinionated, and always had a contagious smile on his face.  Carl will be deeply missed.  Although Carl is no longer physically with us, his spirit and his memory will always be with us.  May his soul rest in peace!

I want to offer my sincere condolences to the family of Carl Brown.  I graduated with Carl in the Shelbyville H.S. class of 1966.  Carl was not only a great basketball player, but he was the nicest guy in our class.  He was popular and friendly to everyone.  I don't know if I will be able to attend his visitation, but I will be sending flowers on my behalf.  Rest in peace, Carl.


So very sorry to hear about the death of Carl. One of the most wonderful people I have ever met.  Carl was a couple of years ahead of me in school.  I always looked up to him as a leader, athlete & friend.  He will be dearly missed but not forgotten.  Greg Lowe
