Aristids Raymond "Art" Teirumniks

Aristids Raymond “Art” Teirumniks, 71, of Indianapolis, passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2017. He was born June 15, 1946 in Germany to Francis and Valentina (Babrus) Teirumniks. He is preceded in death by his father, mother and his brother, August Teirumniks. Art was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church. He was a 1968 graduate of Purdue University and went on the Indiana University School of Law earning his Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1972. He passed the bar in 1973 and began private practice until becoming a deputy prosecutor in 1978. He served as magistrate of the Marion County Superior Court, Juvenile Division from 1981 until returning to private practice in 1990. He retired from Indiana State Department of Health as Staff Attorney in 2004. Art is survived by his wife, Kelly Teirumniks; sisters, Maria Teirumniks, and Margaret (Craig) Jones; and sister-in-law, Mary Jane Teirumniks. Visitation will be 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Monday, November 6, 2017 at Feeney-Hornak Keystone Mortuary, 2126 E. 71st St., Indianapolis, Indiana 46220. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 am Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at St. Joan of Arc, 4217 Central Ave. Indianapolis, Indiana 46205 with entombment to follow at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery in Indianapolis, IN.
