On May 3,1958, Ann was joined in marriage to Donald P. Behringer, together they welcomed four children. Prior to her marriage to Don and starting a family, she was employed by Illinois Bell in Chicago and was a Candy Striper at St. Ann’s Hospital in Rockford, IL. After the arrival of her children, she became a stay-at-home mom and volunteered her time at her children’s school on many occasions. Later in life, she worked at Sears Department Store in Castleton and was a member of the St. Pius Women’s Guild in Indianapolis.
Ann’s life reflected her Catholic faith and trust in God's will. Ann was a great example of what sacrificial love looked like. She always put other’s needs before her own. Ann was married to Don for nearly 38 years, and they built their family with a strong foundation in their Roman Catholic faith. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who will be deeply missed.
Ann is survived by her children, Don (Kris) Behringer, Mike(Julia) Behringer, Deborah (Dave) Bradley, and Laura (Tony) Navarra and 13 grandchildren: Katie, Michael, Erin, Theresa, Evan, Jacob, Alyssa, Anthony, Reagan, Jana, Luke, Sarah, & Molly, and her brother, Peter Cunningham. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Don, brothers, James and John Cunningham, and sister Agnes Walsh.
