Growing up in the McLean area and moving to Qu’Appelle in 1979 with his family, Brian later met the love of his life, Bonnie. After marrying and starting their family, they decided to call Qu’Appelle home and pursue their dream of building their log home. Brian’s love of cars throughout his youth guided him to become a journeyman mechanic. After years of ‘pulling wrenches’, Brian decided he needed to explore the open road and started his trucking business where he often found his little girls tagging along for road trips. Brian expanded his education further and set his sights on pipeline inspecting where he got to travel the country, often with his wife by his side. He was very enthusiastic about his work on the pipeline, although his passion, work ethic and drive have been present through every aspect of Brian’s work and personal life. Brian took pride in his work ethic and instilled this in his family and others he crossed paths with – often being thanked by those he took under his wing to help and guide. Brian will be deeply missed by all who loved him, leaving a huge hole in the hearts of everyone he leaves behind.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Brian’s name to TeleMiracle, which was dear to his heart, or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
