James Robert Capek

James had a contagious smile a mile wide and loved to laugh. He had a big heart and wore his emotions on his sleeve. He was a guy who loved his friends and family deeply. James was passionate about spending time with family and friends near and far, in person or by phone. James was very artistic and loved drawing, painting and clay modeling. He enjoyed simple things in life such as, a long road trip, a big bonfire or just a good movie. The most important love he shared was for his beautiful daughter, Ember.

James was preceded in death by his younger Brother, Levi Allen Capek, his maternal Grandmother, Kimberly Carey, and his paternal Grandfather, Ricky Capek Sr. He is survived by his young daughter, Ember Capek, and his partner Aaron Carpenter. His mother, Candice Johnson and stepfather, James Johnson of Independence, MO, his father, James Capek of Edwards, MO, brother's Jacob Capek (Julianna Beckley) and Liam Johnson, grandmother, Vicky Capek, grandmother, Ann Johnson, great grandmother, JoAnne Wall, grandfather, Robert Carey (Kelly Chaney), along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless loving friends.

Donations for the support of Ember Capek to be made out to Candice Johnson for the pending trust.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 8th, 2024 from 3:00pm - 6:00pm with a service to follow at Newcomer's Noland Road Chapel located at 509 S. Noland Road, Independence MO 64050.
