Betty Jo Spicer November 27, 1932 to July 4, 2017 Betty Jo Spicer was born in Macon County, Macon Missouri on November 27, 1932 to Cynthia Gladys and Merl Virgil Bolin. She met Joseph E Spicer, Sr. of Higbee, Missouri and they married on August 12, 1949. She worked as a Department Head in Acquisitions at the Mid Continent Public Library Distribution Center in Independence, Mo until she retired in 1998. Betty was preceded in death by her husband Joseph E Spicer, Sr. and her parents Merl Virgil Bolin and Cynthia Gladys Bolin, her brothers, Larry Bolin, Lester Bolin and Donald Bolin. She is survived by her three children, Vickey Jo and her husband Chip Thompson, Cynthia Louise Carrender and Joseph E Jr. and his wife Lavonne Spicer, 14 grandchildren, Kathy & Vernon, Amy & Jim, Brad & Ashley, Aron & Cristi, Julia & Josh, David & Aaron, Joey & Allison, 17 great-grandchildren, Jacob & Beth, Trenton, Stephanie, Derrick, Blaine, Kolby, Kayle & Stephen, Kelsy, Tristen, Turner, Destiny, Joshua, Jesse, John, Jeremiah and 2 great-great grandchildren Landon, and Presley, three sisters, Mary Ann Gibler, Janet Dailey, Pat Bailey, one brother Bob Bolin and many nieces, and nephews.
