Helen spent her youth working on her parent’s farm in the New Sweden area along with her brother Ernie and sister Louise, where she developed a tremendous work ethic. Helen married Merlin C. Bledsoe, February 6, 1935. They were blessed with daughters Barbara and Betty.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents; husband Merlin, daughter Betty Wessel Bledsoe, grandson Mike Wessel, and sister Louise Hackman Bruha.
