William Andrew Heffernan

William was born in Hyannis on October 26th 1992 to parents Rebecca and Andrew Heffernan. He graduated from Barnstable High School in 2010. William Attended Cape Cod Community College but started to get sick before he was able to complete it.

While we mourn the loss, we take comfort in knowing that he is no longer suffering.

William leaves behind his mother Rebecca Heffernan of Haverhill MA, his Father Andrew Heffernan of Hyannis MA, his Sister Ashley Welsh Of Wareham, his Sister Erin Distolfo and her husband Marc Distolfo of Attleboro MA, his sister Cameron Dion and her husband Matthew Dion of Haverhill MA and his Brother Jesse Edwards of Knoxville TN. He also leaves behind his seven nieces Osheanna Davis, Koral Davis, Lana Davis, Lilah Hebert, Amber Paronich, Nichole Edwards, and Ali Distolfo as well as three nephews Brandon Edwards, JJ Edwards, and Adam Dion and many many Aunts, uncles and cousins and SO SO many friends who meant the world to him. William is pre-Deceased by his Mimi and Papa Welsh and his Grandma Ri Heffernan as well as his Aunt Beth and Uncle Ed and his cousins Willie; Jessica; Justin and Brianna.

He was an avid fan and collector of many things including Pokemon, Magic Cards, Pop Vinyl, and video games. William liked playing D&D and enjoyed anything anime going to as many conventions with his friends as his health would allow. William had a wonderful heart and would share this love with his friends and family; especially his nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life memorial will be held at the Falmouth Skeet Club on Saturday, August 24th from 12-5pm.
